Most Hawaiian celebrity cruise travelers can’t wait to reach the islands of Hawaii.  Because when the ship arrives at this tropical paradise, you can go on land and shore excursions to explore the beach or the rainforests located inland.  You can either choose from short three-hour trips or longer six-hour trips.  But whether you choose a three or six hour trip, it is important that you choose a set of activities that you will really enjoy as this could be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you. Before booking the activity of your choice, read up on your alternatives and opt for the one that best suits your personality and budget.  For an individual who takes a lot of pleasure in sightseeing, here are some tips on choosing the best Hawaiian excursions.

Clothing is an important thing to consider before going on a celebrity cruise land tour.  Wearing clothes that are appropriate for the weather will make you comfortable during the whole time.  And if you are at ease in your attire, you will be able to participate in all the activities and appreciate the scenery instead of squirming in the heat or in the cold.   While Hawaii generally has a tropical climate, there are some parts where heavy or full clothing is required.  For instance if you go on a Mauna Kea Summit Tour, the Celebrity Cruise staff would recommend that you wear long pants and jacket.  The summit is at a very high altitude: 13,796 feet above sea level, so it can get quite cold up there.
